WHERE PARIS DOES THE PARIS MAPS FOR THE HÔTEL LUTETIA
The Hôtel Lutetia, which has been closed for four years for restoration and renovation work re-opened its doors on July 12th, 2018. Where Paris has created the Paris maps for this emblematic Parisian hotel. More than 10,000 copies will be made available inside the hotel.

The Spring-Summer 2018 issue of Where Chinese Edition will be distributed for the first time on the French Riviera and on board the airline company Aigle Azur. It will also be available in the 30 Chinese restaurants that are the most frequented by Chinese tourists in Paris (including Dragons Élysées, Le Village du Chine, Restaurant Indochine, Chez Vong, Opera Mandarin, Restaurant Passy Mandarin, Au Ciel de Shanghai, Chez Ming…).

GROUPE MONGE MAG by WHERE IS LAUNCHED
The Groupe Monge, a leader in the health and beauty sector in France, has partnered with Where Paris to conceive Groupe Monge Mag by Where. This new free biannual magazine with a circulation of 50,000 copies on the universe of non-prescription pharmaceuticals and beauty is geared towards Chinese visitors to Paris and the Greater Paris region. THE FUTURE HOTEL CONCIERGES VISIT WHERE PARIS
Where Paris welcomed today the students of the Lycée des Métiers de l’Hôtellerie of Toulouse, the only establishment of its kind where future hotel concierges study. It was a real pleasure to meet the 11 future concierges and their teachers, and to talk to them about our publications and our know-how in publishing.

PARIS DECO OFF 2018
Paris Déco Off was held for the ninth time from January 18th to January 22nd, 2018. More than 100 prestigious houses of decoration revealed their latest collections in the showrooms. As in previous years Where Paris was a media partner of this event. The Showroom Window Contest, presided over by the designer Chantal Thomass, was held to award the prize to the most beautiful windows on both banks of the Seine. The winners this year were Gastón y Daniela on the Left Bank and the house of Pierre Frey on the Right Bank. Our journalist, Patricia Valicenti, was a member of the jury.

BEST RECEPTIONIST IN 2017
On Monday November 27th 2017, at the Hôtel Meurice, the ceremony for the David Campbell Trophy, the competition for the best hotel receptionist of the year, was held for the 26th time while the David Campbell Junior Trophy for students was held for the 9th time. Agnès Clevy won the prestigious trophy and will have the opportunity of representing Paris at the International AICR Congress, which will take place in Zurich. AICR is the French acronym for The International Association for Deputy Managers and Front Office Managers of Luxury Hotels. Suzanne Tang who is in charge of distribution at Where Paris was a member of the jury for the sixth consecutive year.
A SPLENDID SOIRÉE
A convivial and enriching soirée was on the agenda in Paris on the evening of November 21st in and around the galleries of the Carré Rive Gauche association, which welcomed the Clefs d’Or concierges and other special guests into their elegant quarters. The gallery owners, experts in their diverse fields, offered rich and edifying explanations to the visitors who were visibly entranced by the experience. The evening continued in a festive fashion at the charming Le Bistro de Paris restaurant in the neighbourhood where participants continued to mingle, converse and marvel over the originality of the soirée. The event was organised by Where Paris Editions and the Carré Rive Gauche association of 110 galleries.

THE RUSSIAN EDITION OF WHERE NOW HAS AN ENLARGED DISTRIBUTION NETWORK: PARIS, MONACO, NICE, CANNES, SAINT-TROPEZ, MARSEILLE & PROVENCE, COURCHEVEL & MEGÈVE
From now on, the Russian edition of Where will be present throughout France in the regions favoured by Russian-language visitors. WHERE PARIS TO BE DISTRIBUTED ON BOARD ALL EUROSTAR TRAINS FROM LONDON TO PARIS
Starting on March 1st, Where Paris will be distributed every month in every car on board the Eurostar from London to Paris as well as in the Business Premier Lounge at Saint Pancras station. Travellers can prepare their trip to the capital, discover new shopping addresses, visit new cultural venues, find out where to eat, have a drink and where to go out at night.
WHERE PARIS, PLATINUM PARTNER FOR THE 2017 INTERNATIONAL AICR CONGRESS
The AICR is holding its international congress this year as it has done for the past 20 years. This major event will take place in Paris this year from February 22nd to February 26th. Its goal is to bring together members from its 18 branches around the world and to promote the professions linked to the welcome in leading hotels. It is also during this congress that the final for the David Campbell International Trophy, awarded for the International Receptionist of the Year Competition, is held.

Suzanne Tang who heads up distribution for Where Paris was a member of the jury for the fourth consecutive year. Created by the AICR (The International Association for Deputy Managers and Front Office Managers of Luxury Hotels), the David Campbell Trophy is awarded to the best receptionist of the year. During the award ceremony organised on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 at the Hôtel du Collectioneur Arc de Triomphe, Morgane Leonard of the Hôtel New York/Disneyland Paris, won this competition.

Le Mondial de l’Automobile 2016 (The international automobile show) is being held from October 1st through to October 16th at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles convention centre. This year’s show is proffering plenty of innovations and during the not to be missed event the brands are on the competitive creative edge to impress their fans in highly modern stands. This site, developed in 2016 by Where Paris in partnership with UnionPay (the leading bank in Asia, primarily in China), meets the growing demand for information from individual Chinese tourists and Chinese business travellers. www.whereparis.cn accompanies them by guiding them around the city to the places they want to go (boutiques, museums, restaurants, cabarets, bars…). The site is hosted in China and can be accessed from any connected device.
THE MAYOR OF PARIS WRITES A LETTER TO THE READERS OF WHERE PARIS

2016, June 30th – Our invited guests were treated to an unforgettable evening at Le Perchoir Marais rooftop bar where a cocktail party was organised to celebrate the respective milestones. With a breathtaking view of the city and a tropical décor, guests enjoyed an evening full of surprises, cocktails, champagne, DJ, delicious canapés and a fabulous trip for two to New York organised by La Compagnie had a lucky winner packing their bags and running to the airport. WHERE PARIS CREATES A MAP OF PARIS FOR AMERICAN EXPRESS
Within the context of American Express‘s strategy of communicating with foreign tourists who use the American Express card, Where Paris has conceived a thoroughly customised Map of Paris. This new American Express 2016 map will be distributed in over 1,200 places in Paris and the Greater Paris region (hotels, tourism offices, train stations, airports, the Open Tour, Bateaux-Mouches, Batobus). It will guide foreign visitors to the best restaurants in the capital and propose two discovery visits of Paris combining shopping with emblematic venues.

The 19th Salon du Vintage (Vintage Trade Show) will pay tribute to visionary designers and utopians of the 1960s and 1970s. In the midst of the 2000 square metres of the Carreau du Temple and its 150 exhibitors showing fashion accessories, records and furniture, an exhibition, Space Age, will be installed. Where Paris for the first time is taking part in this event as a media partner.
WHERE PARIS AT RETROMOBILE 2016
The treasures of the automobile world, car lovers and collectors from around the world converged on the Porte de Versailles from February 3rd to the 7th for the 41st Retromobile. Each year, 120,000 visitors come to dream, to wax lyrical, to get information, to invest and to meet up with the most beautiful cars. This year Where Paris was present for the preview opening and in the VIP lounge.
Papiers de Presse et PresseEdition.fr organised a debate on February 12th, 2016 on the theme of Free Information Magazines, how to develop a declining advertising market. Among the speakers was our Managing Director Pascal Tranchant who was invited to participate in this debate and to show that there are niche markets where growth is possible.

The Parisian rendezvous for the leading names in international decoration is Paris Déco Off, which was held for the seventh time on January 21st to January 25th 2016. Ninety prestigious houses of decoration enable visitors to discover their latest collections in the midst of the Parisian showrooms. Like in the preceding years, Where Paris is the media partner for this unique event geared for the general public as well as professionals.

The National Congress of the Clefs d’Or is one of the high points for the association that brings together the most Clefs d’Or in Paris and the provinces as well official partners. Where Paris actively supports the Clefs d’Or France and this event in particular which was held in November 2015 in the city of Evian.

PRIX VILLEGIATURE AWARDS 2015
The 22 journalists and press correspondents from the leading medias, including Sandra Iskander, the editor in chief of Where Paris rewarded in October 19th at the Hotel Hilton Paris Opera, the most beautiful hotels in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Out of 13 European prizes, France won five times, Switzerland three, Italy two and Germany, Austria and Russia, once.
THE BUCHERER WHERE PARIS SOIRÉE
The House of Bucherer in partnership with Where Paris magazines had the pleasure of welcoming for the second year in a row in the heart of its Parisian setting professionals on the Parisian tourism scene. The guests were welcomed by the stewards of the Venice-Simplon Orient Express for an exclusive cocktail dinner that invited them on board the famous train.

2015, July 30th, Alexander Lobrano, the gastronomic journalist for Where Paris was invited by BFM Business TV to in the show “Goûts du Luxe”, Luxury Tastes, presented by Delphine Liou. WHERE PARIS CELEBRATES LE PRINTEMPS
Where Paris brought out an exceptional 255th issue in April 2015 for the 150th anniversary of the Printemps. This collector edition has two inverted covers. A regular cover on the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition at the Grand Palais with a feature story inside and a special upside-down cover on the 150 years of the department store the Printemps with 12 exceptional pages devoted to this anniversary comprising a history of the department store and the luxury collections created exclusively for this event.

The second Salon de l‘Homme et des Belles Montres (the Men’s and Fine Watch Trade Show) was held last November 27th to the 29th at the Carrousel du Louvre. Resembling an ephemeral megastore of 5,000 square metres, the show brought together the best of all of the world of men, fashion, gastronomy, watches and spirits, sports and high-tech along with services, bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, barbers, workshops.
BARBARA RIHL DESIGNS A COVER FOR WHERE
Barbara Rihl, the designer celebrated for her leather goods with dynamic and feminine illustrations, created a summery cover especially for the August issue 2015 of Where Paris.

THE NEW LOOK FOR WHERE PARIS FOR THE 250TH ISSUE
With the November 2014 edition, Where Paris innovates and adapts to the new demands of luxury tourism with a refined layout, new shopping and French art of living pages, and a fashion photo shoot each month. The icon of the contemporary woman by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac was the cover of the 250th issue of the magazine embodying a true emblem of the new radiant solar femininity.
